Disability History Month illustrations for UK Parliament and Shaw Trust

The UK Parliament' Education and Engagement service commissioned me to create six illustrations as part of a resource for schools to surface the stories of six influential people in the sphere of disability rights. The children's book is available on the UK Parliament's website for schools throughout the country to use.

“It was wonderful working with Ananya on the Disability History Month booklet for children for UK Parliament Education and Engagement. She was responsive to our brief, incorporating our ideas and amendments and working to an incredibly tight timeline. The result were beautiful and vibrant illustrations, capturing the people featured exquisitely and bringing the stories to life for our younger audiences.”

— Claire Bogue, Education and Engagement Content Manager for UK Parliament

“Ananya was a joy to work with. She quickly understood my brief and interpreted it in a beautiful and fresh way that gave a real touch of magic to our book and brought the stories to life. Added to that, she was positive, speedy and responsive all along the way. I would recommend working with Ananya without a doubt.”
